Creative
Research Medals
Research Medals
acknowledge exceptional accomplishments in creativity and research.
Nominations are based on a research project or creative activity
with a single consistent premise. Criteria include the principal
direction and focus of the project occurring within the past five
years and identification with The University of Georgia.
Inventor's
Award
Each year the Board
of Directors of the Research Foundation choose a member of the
University of Georgia faculty as the inventor of the year. The
selection is based on the invention's originality, innovation,
and impact outside the university setting. Only one inventor is
chosen each year and honored for his or her success.
Distinguished
Research Professors

given to honor academicians whose work is recognized as being
of the highest levels of creativity by national and international
